By using PassportLayout.online ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

PassportLayout.online is a free, browser-based tool that helps you create print-ready passport photo layouts. All image processing occurs locally on your device. No photos or personal data are transmitted to our servers.

2. Free of Charge

The Service is provided free of charge. No payment, registration, or account is required. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, but the core passport photo layout tool will remain free.

3. No Guarantee of Acceptance

PassportLayout.online generates passport photo layouts that conform to standard dimensional requirements (such as 35×45mm or 51×51mm) and the 75% face-height proportion used in international biometric standards. However:

• We do not guarantee that photos produced with this tool will be accepted by any passport office, embassy, consulate, or government agency.
• Acceptance depends on many factors beyond dimensions — including background colour, lighting, facial expression, print quality, and country-specific rules — that are outside the scope of this tool.
• You are responsible for verifying that your photo meets all requirements specified by the issuing authority for your particular document.

4. Your Photos and Privacy

Your photos are processed entirely within your web browser. We have no access to your images, and no image data is transmitted to our servers or any third party. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent or counterfeit identity documents.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the Service's source code for commercial purposes.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a manner that could impair its availability to other users.

6. Intellectual Property

The PassportLayout.online name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. Photos you upload and layouts you generate are yours — we claim no ownership or rights over your images.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• The output will meet the specific requirements of any government or institution.
• The print output will be accurate on all printers and paper types.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PassportLayout.online and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, rejected passport applications, wasted printing materials, or missed deadlines.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and may contain links to third-party websites (such as Ko-fi). These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
